     cannot open compiler intermediate file
 
     The compiler could not create intermediate files for use in the
     compilation process. The exact reason could not be determined.
 
     One of the following may be a solution:
 
        ■ Make sure that the environment variable TMP points to a drive
          and directory in which a file can be created.
 
        ■ Delete unneeded files in the TMP directory.
