Orphan
 
A paragraph's first line when it appears alone at
the bottom of a page or column, while the rest of
the paragraph appears on the next page or column.
Word automatically avoids page breaks that leave
orphan lines. You can change this setting with
the Utilities Customize command. See also: Widow;
