WINDOW CLOSE
 
Use the Window Close command to close the <active>
window.
 
■ Word prompts you to save changes you made to a
  document before closing the last window
  containing that document.
 
■ To close the active window, choose Window Close
  (Alt,W,C) or click the Close icon (■) in the
  upper-left corner of the window border.
