     NMAKE Fatal Error U1084
 
     cannot create temporary file 'filename'
 
     NMAKE was unable to create the temporary file it needs when it
     processes the makefile.
 
     One of the following may be a cause:
 
        ■ The file already exists with a read-only attribute.
 
        ■ There is insufficient disk space to create the file.
 
        ■ The directory specified in the TMP environment variable does
          not exist.
