■ Applies to MDPA, CGA, Hercules, Olivetti, EGA, VGA, or MCGA adapters
■ Mode 0:
• Screen format (in characters)
40 x 25, 40 x 43, 40 x 50, or 80 x 25
80 x 43 (EGA or VGA)
80 x 50 (VGA)
• Character box size
8 x 8 for CGA; 8 x 8 or 8 x 14 with EGA
9 x 14 for Hercules; 8 x 16 for Olivetti
8 x 14, 9 x 14, or 9 x 16 with VGA
• 16 colors assigned to two color attributes
• 16 colors assigned to any of 16 color attributes (with CGA or EGA)
• 64 colors assigned to any of 16 color attributes (with EGA or VGA)
