  Description:                                          [PC] [AT] [PS/2]
 
     Invoked when timer chip decrements an internal counter to zero.
     Normally, this occurs an average of 18.2065 times per second.
 
     This interrupt should not be called directly. To trap Int 08h
     calls, a program must set up a handler routine to gain control
     when the interrupt occurs.
