  Description:                     [MDA] [CGA] [PCjr] [EGA] [MCGA] [VGA]
 
     Obtains the ASCII character and its attribute at the current
     cursor position for the specified display page. In video modes
     that support multiple pages, characters and their attributes can
     be read from any page, regardless of the page currently being
     displayed.
