Important Notice
The pages on this site contain documentation for very old MS-DOS software,
purely for historical purposes.
If you're looking for up-to-date documentation, particularly for programming,
you should not rely on the information found here, as it will be woefully
out of date.

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
The IBM personal computer keeps the date and time in the
operating system. They are automatically inserted when you
specify DATE. You can, however, enter the date yourself as the
parameter. With NODATE, the paragraph is left unaltered.
With DATE, the system date or the string you enter appears at the
top of each page of the listing. With NODATE, spaces are used
instead.
