Graphics-Driver Escapes

The Microsoft Windows graphics escapes provide graphics support that is
otherwise not available through graphics-device interface (GDI).
Applications use graphics escapes to perform device-dependent operations
that are not supported by GDI. Applications call the Escape function
(GDI.38) to initiate an escape and GDI calls the device driver's Control
function to complete the escape.
