About the Enhanced-Mode Grabber

The 386 enhanced-mode display grabber is a dynamic-link library (DLL). The
library consists of a set of functions that let Windows display the output
of a non-Windows application in a window and copy the screen contents of a
non-Windows application to the clipboard in a Windows-compatible format.

386 enhanced-mode WINOLDAP loads the grabber and calls the functions
whenever it needs to carry out some action with the screen contents of a
nonsystem virtual machine (VM). All non-Windows applications run on
nonsystem virtual machines. The grabber works in conjunction with the
virtual-display device (VDD) to retrieve the screen contents of a given VM.
The contents are displayed in a window or copied to the clipboard. The
386grabber setting in the [Boot] section of the SYSTEM.INI file specifies
which 386 enhanced-mode grabber to load.
