The low-level functions of all the grabbers define a number of equates.
These equates are used to calculate the size of various data buffers needed
to take screen snapshots (grabbers) and switch the video context. Because
these calculations vary widely among display adapters, the rationale for
many of the calculated assumptions may not be clear. Therefore, the
explanation provided in the following section is an attempt to clarify this
process.
