The reccom function reads a byte from a communications device. USER calls
this function whenever an application calls the ReadComm function
(USER.204).
 
Parameter  Description

cid        Identifies the communications device.
 
Return Value
 
The return value is the byte read. Otherwise, the return value is -2 if no
data is available, and -1 if there is an error.
