The stacom function returns the most recent error value and copies the
current status for the specified device to the given structure. USER calls
this function whenever an application calls the GetCommError function
(USER.203).

cid        Identifies the communications device.
 
cs         Points to a COMSTAT structure.
 
Return Value
 
The return value is the most recent error code.
