■ Copies selected text from the active window to the
  Clipboard. The original block of text remains unchanged.
 
■ To select text, place the cursor where the text begins
  and press the Shift+arrow keys.
 
■ Tips:
    • Once removed, use Paste (Shift+Ins) to insert text at
      the new location.
    • To remove selected text without copying it to the
      Clipboard, choose Delete or press the Del key.
