Display (Alt+O,D)
■ Customizes environment settings for:
    • User-interface elements: foreground/background colors
    • Desktop fill character: ASCII character used to create
      the environment background
    • Tab stops: number of spaces the Tab key advances the
      cursor (programming environment only)
 
■ Tip: You can use the Options Display dialog to simulate
       the effects of changing the ControlPanel property
       at run time.
 
■ Color settings may also be affected by VBDOS command-line
  options: /B and /NOHI.
 
■ The user-interface element "Form Default" sets the default
  colors for all new objects that are created. It does not
  affect the color settings of existing objects.
 
■ To customize environment settings:
    1. Select a user-interface element from the list box.
 
        User-Interface Element:

    2. Select the desired foreground and background colors.
 
        Foreground:       Background:

       Note: The sample display box settings change to
             match the colors you select.
 
    3. To change the desktop fill character or tab stops
       setting:
       • Tab to or click the current setting
       • Enter an ASCII number representing a new desktop
         fill character, or for tab stops, enter a number
         between 1 and 9

       Note: To view the ASCII character you selected, you
             must first tab out of the edit field.
 
    4. Press Enter or choose OK to customize environment
       settings,
