     The /V option embeds text in an object file.
 
     Syntax: /V"string"
 
     The quotation marks around the string may be omitted if the string
     does not contain blanks or tabs. A common use of the /V option is
     to label an object file with a version number or copyright notice.
 
     The /V option applies to all source files following the option on
     the command line.
