                                    TYPE
 
Displays the contents of a text file.
 
Use the TYPE command to view a text file without modifying it.
 
Syntax
 
    TYPE [drive:][path]filename
 
Parameter
 
[drive:][path]filename
    Specifies the location and name of the file that you want to view.
