     Syntax: /A[LIGNMENT]:size

The /ALIGN option aligns segments in a segmented executable file
at the boundaries specified by <size> bytes. The <size> argument
must be an integer power of two. The default is 512 bytes.
     See: Entering Numeric Arguments

/ALIGN reduces the size of the disk file by reducing the size of
gaps between segments. It has no effect on the size of the file in
     memory.

     Example

The following specification aligns segments at 16-byte boundaries:

          /ALIGN:16
                                    -♦-
