MS OS/2 version 1.2 changes
 
If a dialog window has a system menu, selecting the "Close" menu item calls
the WinDismissDlg function, passing the DID_CANCEL result code. Previous
versions of MS OS/2 closed the application, rather than only the dialog
box.
