SAVE AS DIALOG BOX (Screen 1 of 4)
File Name
Type a filename. Word adds a three-letter
extension for a Word document (.DOC), a style
sheet (.STY), or an RTF file (.RTF), unless you
specify another extension.
Files
Select a filename in a list of existing files
in the current directory.
Directories
If the file you want is not in the Files list,
select the appropriate directory.

Format
Specify the format in which you want to save
your document.
Word Saves your document with all
Word's formatting features. This
is the default format.
Text Only Saves your document without
formatting, so that it can be
read by other programs.

Text Only w/Breaks Saves your document
without formatting,
but adds ASCII return
characters at the end
of each line.
RTF (Rich Text Format) Translates Microsoft
formatting into ASCII
codes for use with a
program that reads
RTF.

Options
Choose Options to display the File Options
dialog box and specify the default path you
want your system to use to save files.
