Non-Printing Characters
  Turn on the check box for the non-printing
  characters you want to show on the Word screen.
  Turn on the Show All check box to show all
  non-printing characters.
 
Show
 Line Breaks:    With Line Breaks turned on, you
                 can see where lines will be
                 broken in the printed document.

Show
 Menu:           If turned off, the Word menu is
                 only displayed when you press
                 Alt.
 Style Bar:      Turn on or off to show or hide
                 the styles you have applied to
                 your text.
 Window Borders: Turn on or off to show or hide
                 window borders.
 Message Bar:    Turn on or off to show or hide
                 the message bar.

Scroll Bars
  Turn on or off to show or hide the vertical and
  horizontal scroll bars.
 
Cursor Control
  You can change the cursor speed by selecting a
  number, 0 (slower) through 9 (faster).
 
Show Line Numbers
  Turn on to show the line number the cursor is
  on with the page and column numbers in the
  status bar.

Count Blank Space
  Turn on to have Word include blank lines in the
  line count.
 
Display Mode
  Select the display mode you want. Use this
  option to shift between graphics and text modes.
 
Colors
  Displays the Colors dialog box.
 
Customize
  Displays the Customize dialog box, which you can
  use to change many of Word's default settings.
