EDIT MACRO DIALOG BOX (Screen 1 of 4)
Macro Name
Type the name of the macro to edit, or select
the macro from the Macros list.
Macro Keys
To assign a key code to the macro, press
Ctrl+ a one- or two-character key combination.
For example, if you press Ctrl+M,S, <ctrl M>S
will display in the Macro Keys box. When you
press Ctrl+M,S in a document, Word will run the
macro. Two-character key codes allow more range
in naming and storing large numbers of macros.
You can also use Ctrl+Shift+a key combination,
or a single function key, for a key code.

Macros
Select any of the existing macros you want to
edit from the list. Scroll horizontally in the
list to see all macros.
Selection
Displays the first line of the selected macro.
Macro (Glossary) File
Displays the name of the glossary file that
contains the macros in the list above. Choose
the Open Glossary button to open a different
glossary file.

Define
Defines the selected text in the document
window as a macro.
Edit
Places the text of the selected macro into the
document window so the macro can be edited.
Delete
Deletes the selected macro.
Clear All
Deletes all macros from the current glossary.

Open Glossary
Displays the Open Glossary dialog box, where
you can open a different glossary file. The
macros in the open glossary display in the Edit
Macro dialog box.
Save Glossary
Choose Save Glossary to save macro changes in
the current or a different glossary file.
Merge
Choose Merge to merge one glossary file with
another.
