Important Notice
The pages on this site contain documentation for very old MS-DOS software,
purely for historical purposes.
If you're looking for up-to-date documentation, particularly for programming,
you should not rely on the information found here, as it will be woefully
out of date.

Project menu, Open Project command
Choose Open Project to open an existing project to use in PWB. The
Open Project dialog box provides the following options:
Project Name
Type the name of the project makefile, or select the project
makefile in the File List box.
Use as a Non-PWB Makefile
Turn on to open a non-PWB project. A non-PWB project is a
project whose makefile was not created by PWB. When you open
a non-PWB project, menu commands that do not apply to non-PWB
projects are unavailable.
See: ◄Using Non-PWB Makefiles►
Turn off to open a PWB project.
Default: off
Restore Window Layout
Turn on to restore the window layout, file history, and
search options from the project status file.
IMPORTANT: Opening a project with this option turned on is
like exiting and restarting PWB with the project.
All open files are closed. If the Autosave switch
is set to No, you are prompted to save any modified
files. If you do not choose Yes in response to the
prompt to save the file, your changes are lost.
Turn off to retain the same configuration and ignore the
saved project configuration.
The Restorelayout switch provides the default setting for
this check box. When you change this option, PWB does not
change the setting of the Restorelayout switch.
See: Restorelayout
To create a new PWB project, choose New Project.
