Use Cut (or press SHIFT+DEL) to remove selected text from the active window and put it in the Clipboard. You can then use Paste (SHIFT+INS) to insert it into an active window. Tip: Select text by placing the cursor where the text should begin and pressing the SHIFT+DIRECTION keys. Remove selected text without copying it to the clipboard by pressing DEL.
