────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

The fprintf function formats and prints a series of characters and
values to the output stream. Each <argument> (if any) is converted
and output according to the corresponding format specification in
     <format>.

The <format> argument is of the same form and function as the
<format> argument for the printf function. See printf for
     descriptions of <format> and <argument>.

     Return Value

The fprintf function returns the number of characters printed, or
a negative value in the case of an output error.
