Copy Command (2 of 2)
Shortcut key: CTRL+INS
Use the Copy command, or press CTRL+INS, to copy selected
(highlighted) text from the active window to the Clipboard.
The text in the active window stays intact but is no longer
highlighted.
Once a block of text is in the Clipboard, choose Paste,
or press SHIFT+INS, to insert it into an active window.
► Use the SHIFT+arrow keys to select text in the
active window.
To use the Copy and Paste commands together:
1. Select text 2. Choose Copy 3. Move cursor to
with or press insert point;
SHIFT+ARROW KEY CTRL+INS choose Paste

TIP: The copied text is still in both the active window
and the Clipboard.
