     Form of <base>:

          (__segment)__self

     A based pointer declared this way can address locations in only
     the segment in which the pointer itself is stored. Such pointers
     can save space in a linked list or tree if the entire data
     structure fits in a single segment.

     For example:

          typedef struct tree TREE;

          struct tree
          {
             int name;
             TREE __based( (__segment)__self ) *left;
             TREE __based( (__segment)__self ) *right;
          };
