VIEW LAYOUT

Procedures: <Using Layout View>

Use the View Layout command to see how objects are
positioned on the page and to display multiple
columns on the screen.

■ In layout view, each paragraph is an object
contained within an invisible frame that Word
  uses for spacing and positioning.

■ Layout view gives you an idea of how text and
graphic frames look together on the screen and
allows you to edit what you see. For example,
you can see how multiple columns look or how
text wraps around a frame centered on the page.

■ Some operations (such as repagination and
scrolling) may be slower in layout view.
