Important Notice
The pages on this site contain documentation for very old MS-DOS software,
purely for historical purposes.
If you're looking for up-to-date documentation, particularly for programming,
you should not rely on the information found here, as it will be woefully
out of date.

INSERT BREAK
Procedures: <Inserting document breaks>
Use the Insert Break command to end a page,
column, or <section> at the cursor location.
Breaks in a Word document appear as dotted lines
on the screen.
■ A Section break affects the text that precedes
it. The new section is the text before the
break, not after it.
■ Select, delete, move, or copy breaks as you
would any other characters.
■ To quickly insert a column break, press
Ctrl+Shift+Enter.
