FORMAT CHARACTER
Procedures: <Formatting characters>
Use the Format Character command to change the
appearance of the characters in your document.
You can change the <font>, <point size>, or
color of your text, or choose from a number of
<formatting> options.
■ You can apply character formatting quickly
using <speed formatting keys>. For example,
to make text bold, select the text and press
Ctrl+B.
■ To see the formatting appear on the screen as
it will when printed, use the View Preferences
command to set the display mode to a graphics
option. (Note: Your computer and monitor must
have graphics capability.) In text mode,
formatting is indicated by colors.
