<Index> <Back> <Exit> ───────────────────────────────────────────────── FORMAT POSITION Procedures: <Positioning text or graphic frames> Use the Format Position command to position a graphic or text in your document. Word recognizes a graphic or a paragraph of text as an object contained in a <frame>. You can position a specified frame anywhere on a page and wrap text around it. ■ Use <layout> view and the File Print Preview command to see how the page will print. ■ Word is preset to add 1/6 inch (0.167) of space between the frame edges and surrounding text. You can change this amount by typing a new measurement in the Distance From Text box in the Position dialog box. ■ If you want to position and size a frame and then use it in other documents, you can save the position and formatting in a <style> and then apply the style as needed.
