UTILITIES REVISION MARKS
Procedures: <Using revision marks>
Use the Utilities Revision Marks command to turn
Word's revision marking features on or off and to
specify how revision marks are inserted.
■ You can use revision marks to show insertions,
deletions, or any proposed revisions in a
document.
■ When you turn on Revision Marks, Word does the
following as you edit the document:
* Gives the new text you type or insert a
different format that you can specify. For
example, you can specify that any new text be
underlined.
* Strikes through any text you delete.
* Optionally inserts a revision bar in the
margin to show where a revision is proposed.
■ You can use the Search button in the
Mark Revisions dialog box to find all the
proposed revisions in your document.
■ You can choose to accept or undo each revision
separately or throughout the entire document.
