DELETING A COLUMN
Overview: <Working with columns and tables>
To delete a column:
1. Move the cursor to the upper-left corner of
the column.
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+F8 to turn on column
selection.
3. Use the mouse or direction keys to select the
column, including its trailing tab characters.
4. To delete the column to the <scrap>, choose
Edit Cut (Alt,E,T) or press Shift+Delete.
To delete the column permanently, press
Delete.
Note: To <paste> a column that has been
deleted to the scrap, use the
<Edit Paste command> command.
