REPLACING TEXT
Overview: <Edit Replace command>
To replace specific text in your document:
1. Choose Edit Replace (Alt,E,E).
2. Type the text you want to search for in the
Text To Search For box.
3. Type the replacement text in the Replace With
box.
4. Turn on Whole Word if the text you are
searching for is a whole word. Otherwise, Word
searches for all occurrences of the letter
combination in the search text.
5. Turn on Match Upper/Lowercase to search for
text that matches the capitalization of the
search text.
6. If you do not want to confirm each occurrence
before it is replaced, turn off Confirm
Changes.
7. Choose OK.
To repeat the replacement for the next
occurrence, press F4.
