<Index> <Back> <Exit> ───────────────────────────────────────────────── MOVING TEXT OR GRAPHICS Overview: <Edit Cut command> To move text or graphics within a document: 1. <Select> the text or graphics you want to move. 2. Press Shift+Del to <cut> the selected contents or Ctrl+Ins to <copy> the selected contents. Either action places the selected text or graphics in the scrap. 3. Place the cursor where you want to insert the scrap contents. 4. Press Shift+Ins. The scrap contents are inserted in front of the cursor. To move text or graphics between documents: 1. Open the document you want to move the text or graphics from. 2. Select the contents you want to move. 3. Press Shift+Del to cut the selected contents or Ctrl+Ins to copy the selected contents. 4. Open the document you want to move the text or graphics to. 5. Move the cursor to where you want to insert the scrap contents. 6. Press Shift+Ins. The contents of the scrap are inserted in front of the cursor.
