Important Notice
The pages on this site contain documentation for very old MS-DOS software,
purely for historical purposes.
If you're looking for up-to-date documentation, particularly for programming,
you should not rely on the information found here, as it will be woefully
out of date.

USING HELP CONCURRENTLY WITH YOUR DOCUMENT
You can work on your document with Help displayed
at the same time on the screen. For example,
you could arrange the Help window below your
document window, find the procedure in Help
for formatting a paragraph, and then format a
paragraph in your document using the Help
instructions.
To use Help concurrently with your document:
1. Position the cursor in your document.
2. Press F1 to get Help.
3. Size the document window and Help window so
that they appear side by side or above and
below each other.
To position the Help window below your
document, use the Window Arrange All
command.
4. You can now move back and forth between the
document and Help windows, browsing Help for
the topic you want and then returning to your
document to apply what you learn.
