USING THE HELP INDEX
The Help Index provides a list of the categories
of Help topics:
Procedures Step-by-step instructions about
how to perform specific tasks.
Commands Descriptions of menu commands
with <jumps> to related
procedures and commands.
Keyboard Word keystrokes.
Mouse Tips on using the mouse.
Screen Regions Descriptions of the different
regions of the Word screen.
Word 5.0 to 5.5 Changes from Word 5.0 to 5.5,
including comparisons of command
names, keystrokes, and mouse
procedures.
Definitions Word 5.5 terminology.
To browse the Help Index:
1. Choose Help Index (Alt,H,I) or press F1
while the cursor is in the document window.
2. Choose the category of Help you want.
3. Choose the topic you want to view.
To return to the Help Index:
■ Choose Index at the top of the Help window.

■ Choose Back or press Backspace to backtrack
through the Help topics.
