PWB allows you to enter any ASCII character into your file or
     into a dialog box.

To type an arbitrary ASCII character, make sure numlock is turned
on, hold down the ALT key, and enter the decimal code for the
character using the numeric keypad. When you release the ALT key,
     the character is typed.

To type a control character, you can use the Quote function. When
you execute Quote, PWB treats the next key you press as a literal
     character.
     See: Quote

     Example

To type the square bullet character (■) at the cursor:

       1. Make sure numlock is turned on (press NUMLOCK).

       2. Press and hold the ALT key.

       3. Using the numeric keypad, type

               254

       4. Release the ALT key.

When you release the ALT key, PWB types the bullet.
