     Update: Inserting ASCII Characters

With PWB 1.x, ALT+<keypad digits> works independently of the
numlock state. This disallows the use of ALT in combination with
the cursor-movement keys on the keypad. To enable these
combinations, PWB 2.00 requires numlock to be turned on to enter
     the ASCII digits.
