     Edit menu, Cut command («delete»)
 
     Function  Delete
 
     Choose Cut to delete the selected text from the active window and
     copy it to the clipboard. If no text is selected, PWB deletes the
     character at the cursor and does not modify the clipboard.
 
     To insert the deleted text, use the Paste command or the Paste
     function («paste»).

     To delete text without copying it to the clipboard, use the Delete
     command or the meta forms of the delete functions.

     TIP: To view the contents of the clipboard, choose Clipboard from
          the PWB Windows cascaded menu on the Window menu.
