     File menu, Open command

Choose Open to load a disk file into the PWB editor or create a
pseudofile (a temporary file in memory).

To change the current directory, type the name in the File Name
box or choose it from the Drives/Dirs list box. PWB makes that
     directory the current one.

The Open File dialog box provides the following options to specify
the type of file to open and if PWB is to open a new window for
     the file:

     Pseudofile
Turn on to open a pseudofile with the specified name.
          See: Pseudofile (Defined)

Turn off to open a disk file with the specified name.

     New Window
Turn on to open a new window for the file.

Turn off to open the file in the active window and place the
current file in the window's file history.

The default value for the New Window option is specified by
          the Newwindow switch.
