MACRO RECORD
Procedures: <Recording a macro>
Use the Macro Record command to record keystrokes
and commands as a <macro>. Macro Record
automatically stores the macro in the current
<glossary>.
■ Recording a macro is an easy way to automate
tasks you perform repeatedly. If the macro is
complex, you may need to add comments and
conditional instructions that can't be
recorded. You can edit a recorded macro (see
Macro Edit command), or write a macro, which
requires advanced knowledge of Word's macro
language. For more information, see Chapter 22,
"Macros," in the Using Manual.
■ When you choose the Macro Record command, the
command name changes to Macro Stop Recorder;
choose this command to stop recording the
macro.
■ You cannot record mouse actions in a macro.
