Important Notice
The pages on this site contain documentation for very old MS-DOS software,
purely for historical purposes.
If you're looking for up-to-date documentation, particularly for programming,
you should not rely on the information found here, as it will be woefully
out of date.

MACRO EDIT
Procedures: <Editing a macro>
Use the Macro Edit command to define, revise,
merge, and delete <macros>. You can also open
different <glossary> files that contain macros.
■ You edit a macro in a document window the same
way you edit any text. Editing can include
simple revisions such as deleting a keystroke
or command, or may require advanced knowledge
of macro instructions and variables. For more
information on writing and editing macros, see
Chapter 22, "Macros," in the Using Manual.
■ When you define a macro, you can assign a
one- or two-character key code to be used as a
shortcut for running the macro. For example, if
you assign the key code Ctrl+M to a macro,
you can run the macro by holding down Ctrl and
pressing M.
