APPLYING STYLES TO YOUR DOCUMENT
Overview: <Format Apply Style command>
To apply a style:
Using the Style box on the <ribbon>:
1. Select the text you want to format.
2. Choose View Ribbon (Alt,V,B) or press Ctrl+S
to display the ribbon.
3. In the Style box on the ribbon, type the name
of the style to apply or select a style from
the list.
To display the list, press Alt+Down Arrow.
4. Press Enter.
Using a <key code>:
1. Select the text you want to format.
2. Press Ctrl+Shift and the key code for the
style.
Using the Format Apply Style command:
1. Select the text you want to format.
2. Choose Format Apply Style (Alt,T,Y).
3. In the Style Type box, select the type of
style you want to apply.
The available styles display in the Style I.D.
list.
4. To select the style you want to apply, do one
of the following:
■ Select a style from the Style I.D. list.
■ Type the name of the style in the Style I.D.
box.
■ Type the key code for the style in the Key
Code box.
5. Choose OK.
