INSERTING AN ANNOTATION
Overview: <Insert Annotation command>
To insert an annotation:
1. Move the cursor to where you want to insert
the annotation reference mark.
2. Choose Insert Annotation (Alt,I,A).
3. In the Annotation Mark box, type the
characters you want to use as the annotation
mark.
4. To include the date and/or time in the
annotation mark, turn on Include Date and/or
Include Time.
5. Choose OK.
The annotation mark is inserted; the cursor
moves to the end of the document, where you
type the annotation text. If the document is
in Show Layout mode or the footnote pane is
open, then the cursor is placed in the
footnote pane.
6. To return to the annotation mark that was
inserted, choose Edit Go To (Alt,E,G), or
press F5.
