WRITING A MACRO
Overview: <Macro Edit command>
To write a macro:
1. Open a new document or position the cursor in
the current document where you want to start
typing macro instructions.
2. Type the macro representations for keystrokes,
commands, text, and instructions.
3. Select all of the macro text.
4. Choose Macro Edit (Alt,M,E).
5. In the Macro Name box, type a name for the
macro.
6. If you want to assign a key code, with the
cursor in the Macro Keys box, press Ctrl and
the key or keys for the code. For example,
Ctrl+M,C.
7. Choose the Define button to store the macro in
the current glossary file.
To store the macro in another glossary file,
choose the Open Glossary button and select the
glossary from the Files list. You can change
directories if necessary.
