REMOVING LEADER CHARACTERS
Overview: <Format Tabs command>
To remove leader characters:
1. Position the cursor in the paragraph
containing the leader characters you want to
remove, or select a group of paragraphs.
Note: If you select a group of paragraphs,
only the tab stops common to all
paragraphs will be shown on the ruler
or in the dialog box.
2. Choose Format Tabs (Alt,T,T).
3. In the Tab Position box, select the tab you
want to remove the leader character from.
4. Under Leader, select the None option.
5. Choose the Set button.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for each tab stop containing
the leader characters you want to remove.
7. Choose OK.
