SORTING TABLES
Overview: <Utilities Sort command>
To sort a table:
1. Select the column you want to use as the sort
key. See <Selecting text>.
2. Choose Utilities Sort (Alt,U,O).
3. In the Sort Order box, select Ascending or
Descending.
4. In the Key Type box, select Alphanumeric to
sort a list containing alphabetic characters
(for example, a list of names) or Numeric to
sort a list of numbers.
5. Turn on the Sort Column Only check box to
sort only the items in the selected column,
leaving the rows as they are.
6. Turn on the Case Sensitive check box to sort
capitalized letters ahead of lowercase letters.
7. Choose OK.
