COLLAPSING AN OUTLINE
 
Overview: <View Outline command>
 
To collapse all subheadings and body text below a
heading:
1. Move the cursor to the heading above the
   subheadings and body text you want to
   collapse.
2. Press Minus (- on the numeric keypad). Word
   displays a "+" in the selection bar to indicate
   subheadings or body text are collapsed below
   the heading.
 
To collapse only the body text directly below a
heading:
1. Move the cursor to the heading above the
   body text you want to collapse.
2. Press Shift+Minus (- on the numeric keypad).
   Word displays a "t" in the status bar
   indicating there is text collapsed below the
   heading.
