FORMAT SECTION
 
Procedures: <Formatting a section>
 
Use the Format Section command to control the
page format in a document or a <section> of a
document.
 
■ A document has one or more sections. Settings
  made with the Format Section command apply only
  to the section containing the cursor or to the
  sections you have selected.
 
■ To start a new section, use the <Insert Break>
  command. The section break appears as a double
  dotted line called the section mark. The
  section formatting affects all text above the
  section mark.
 
■ Section formatting is stored in the section
  mark; if you delete it, all formatting for the
  section is lost. You can restore a deleted
  section mark by immediately choosing the Edit
  Undo command.
 
■ To see what your formatting will look like when
  printed, choose the File Print Preview command.
  Choose the View Layout command to see
  formatting in <layout> mode.
 
■ You can change <default> section settings
  for each new document. For more information on
  changing default section formatting and
  revising automatic styles, see the Using
  Manual chapters listed below.
